Audemars Piguet recently launched two new 43mm Royal Oak Offshore Automatic Chronographs. These two new models are unveiled together with other Royal Oak Offshore models launched in 2023 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the watch. The Royal Oak Offshore watch is designed as a more sporty Royal Oak series.
The new Royal Oak Offshore Automatic Chronograph uses materials such as ceramic, rose gold and titanium to reinterpret the 44mm 26405CE model launched in 2020.

Its 43 mm x 14.4 mm case is water-resistant to 100 metres/330 feet and comes with an interchangeable calfskin strap in a textile effect that matches the colour of the dial. A black rubber strap is included with each watch to add a touch of sporty style.
Both watches feature ceramic components that have been carefully crafted through a complex process. Made from zirconium oxide (ZrO2) powder mixed with a special binder, the ceramic is sintered at around 1,000°C to achieve its final colour. Ensuring a perfectly even colour is the primary challenge at this stage. Subsequent processes include pre-polishing, pre-satin-brushing and meticulous hand-finishing, resulting in polished chamfers and satin-brushed surfaces.
The first watch, reference 26420CE.OO.A043VE.01, features a black ceramic case with a blue ceramic bezel, pushers and crown. The ceramic parts are paired with titanium pusher guards and studs.
This watch features a smoked blue Méga Tapisserie dial, which gradually transitions from dark blue to black.

The second chronograph, reference 26420OI.OO.A015VE.01, features an 18K rose gold case with a titanium bezel, bracelet rivets and pushers, making it even more precious.
The crown and pushers are made of black ceramic, which coordinates with the black chronograph counters and contrasts with the uniform gray Méga Tapisserie dial.
The baton hour markers and hands are filled with luminous material and made of rose gold.
The new Royal Oak Offshore Automatic Chronograph has a diameter of 43 mm and is equipped with a 4401 automatic winding movement. This integrated chronograph movement is equipped with a column wheel and a vertical clutch system, and is equipped with a flyback function and an instant date change device. It has a vibration frequency of 28,800 times per hour (4 Hz) and provides a 70-hour power reserve.
